This sauce is a classic preparation of French cuisine. It is most often used as a sauce for fish, but it is also used for meat and vegetables, especially asparagus. It is known worldwide as the ideal topping for Eggs Benedict.
- 3 yolk
- 1 Cup melted butter
- 1 spoon lemon juice
- black pepper
In a saucepan, put water and wait until it boils.
Add the egg yolks and whisk.
Add melted butter and whisk.
Add lemon juice.
Whisk constantly until the sauce is smooth.
Remove from heat. Serve and put your hollandaise sauce on your favourite meals.
