Moist madeira chocolate sponge cake recipe

- 4 egg
- 200 g unsalted butter
- 200 g sugar
- 300 g self-rising flour
- 1⁄2 sachet baking powder
- 1 pinch of salt
- zest of some citrus fruit
- 25 g chocolate powder
Sieve the yeast, flour and salt. Set aside.
Beat the butter with the sugar.
Add the eggs one by one to the butter-sugar mixture.
Gradually add the flour mixture.
Grease a baking tin, preheat the oven to 175 °C and bake for about an hour.
Leave to cool on a wire rack.
Slice, serve and enjoy.
