Yellow cake it's a vanilla cake, but not the typical one, but a more fluffy and tastier version! It's the typical birthday cake that is also perfect for tea time. With this recipe, learn how to prepare it.
- 380 g condensed milk
- 2 egg
- 160 g self-rising flour
- 10 g baking soda
- vanilla essence
For the soaking
- 100 ml water
- 5 tablespoon sugar
For the cream
- 500 ml heavy cream
- 180 g cottage cheese
- 50 g Sugar powder
- 100 g butter
- 2 tablespoon Sugar powder
- 200 g cottage cheese
Whisk the eggs with salt until stiff and frothy. Add the condensed milk and vanilla. Beat again until smooth.
Mix the flour with the baking powder and gradually add to the egg mixture to knead a stiff dough.
Divide the parchment paper into pieces. Place dough on each piece using a ring as a stencil to smooth out the dough. Remove the ring and create a smooth round cake
Then spread the pastry on each piece of parchment paper. Bake each crust for 7 minutes.
Mix the cream with the curd cheese and icing sugar to a smooth consistency and then whisk on high speed for minutes.
Assemble the cake.
Wrap the cake in acetate film and cover with clingfilm. Leave the cake to soak for two hours.
Whisk the butter and room temperature cottage cheese with the icing sugar until fluffy and smooth.
Take out the cold cake and spread the cream over it.
Decorate with fruit berries, sprinkles or whatever you prefer.
