Apple, Hazelnut and Chocolate Cake

Even though I am always creating new recipes and almost always prepare different cakes, this one made it to the list of those I like to repeat. Tasty, moist, simple.

  • 180 g Cane sugar Added to
  • 200 g Smooth spelt flour Added to
  • 150 ml oil Added to
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa Added to
  • 1 ts Tea Bicarbonate Sodas Added to
  • 1 ts baking powder Added to
  • 1 ts cinnamon Added to
  • pinch ground nutmeg Added to
  • 150 g Chocolates Added to
  • 8 pcs apple Added to
  • a handful hazelnuts Added to

1. Step

Chop the chocolate finely. Peel the apples and cut them into smaller pieces.

2. Step

Beat the eggs with sugar. Beat in the oil and mix in the dry ingredients. Finally, stir in the chopped apples and chocolate.

3. Step

Pour the dough onto a baking sheet lined with baking paper.

4. Step

Sprinkle the top with chopped hazelnuts, or pieces of chocolate.

5. Step

Bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 35-40 minutes.
