Directions

1. Step

In a medium-sized bowl, combine the soy sauce, olive oil, lemon juice, and Worcestershire sauce. Giving it a quick whisk will ensure the oil and lemon juice combine thoroughly as they have a tendency to separate.

2. Step

Next, add in the garlic powder, dried basil, dried parsley, and white pepper to the liquid mixture. Remember to keep stirring as the powdery ingredients have a way of settling at the bottom.

3. Step

Once your marinade is well combined, add in your minced garlic. It's better to add this last to avoid it getting stuck to the sides of your bowl.

4. Step

Place steaks in a zip-lock bag and pour the marinade over them. Ensure the steaks are well-coated and let them rest in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours. I've found that marinating overnight intensifies the flavor even more.

5. Step

When it comes time to cooking, remove steaks from the marinade and discard any leftover. It's crucial not to re-use the marinade to avoid any cross-contamination. Grill the steaks for 7 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
