Tzatziki sauce is wildly popular and extremely important in Greek cuisine. It is light, creamy, and full of bright flavours, making it a versatile sauce. You can use it as a dipping sauce for bread or vegetables, on gyros, or as a condiment.
- 1⁄2 Cup greek yoghurt
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon fresh dill chopped
- 1⁄2 cucumber diced
Chop fresh dill.
Cut the cucumber in dices.
Squeeze the lemons and get juice.
Place the ingredients in a bowl and add the yoghurt.
Add the olive oil.
Add the minced garlic, salt and pepper.
Stir until the ingredients are well combined. Set aside.
