No Bake Healthy Chocolate Coconut Balls

The recipe is not just simple but can be prepared in no time, making it my go-to for unexpected guests and sudden sweet cravings.

1. Step

Begin by combining the shredded coconut with condensed milk in a mixing bowl. This synergy of two simple ingredients forms the heart of our Chocolate Coconut Balls. Be sure to mix them well until they form a slightly sticky mixture.

2. Step

Once the mixture is ready, shape them into small 1-inch balls. Now, I recommend using a small ice cream scoop to keep the balls uniform and neatly shaped. Place these balls in a tray lined with parchment paper.

3. Step

After the balls are formed, freeze them for about 20 minutes. This step is crucial as it prevents the coconut balls from disintegrating when you dip them in the chocolate.

4. Step

As the coconut balls chill, start preparing the chocolate dip. Melt the chocolate chips with coconut oil over a double boiler or in the microwave. Remember to stir the chocolate continuously to prevent it from burning and to maintain a smooth consistency.

5. Step

Once the chocolate is melted, start dipping the balls one-by-one into the chocolate using a fork. It's natural to have excess chocolate on the balls, simply shake off the excess before placing them back on the parchment paper. This trick ensures that your balls look neat and not overly chocolatey.

6. Step

After all balls are dipped, let them rest until the chocolate hardens. You can expedite this process by placing them in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes.
