VIDEORECIPE Delicious Chicken Soup
Chicken soup – an epic meal to go with during winters. It is prepared with celery, thyme, bay leaves, and coconut milk, all complimenting its ambrosial flavor.
- 2 Chicken breast (boiled)
- 2 Fresh carrots (diced)
- 5 sticks (diced) Fresh celery
- 2 Onions (diced)
- 3 cloves Garlic (chopped)
- 1 can coconut milk
- 2 bay leaves
- Chicken flavored soup mix
- Salt/ pepper
- 1 Cup self-rising flour
- 1 Cup milk
- 1 stick Butter
- 2 tbl olive oil
Start with preparing all your ingredients, dice them up nicely (carrots, onions, celery, and garlic).
Take a medium-sized pot on a medium flame, add a slice of butter and melt it down. Add olive oil and flour. Stir it using a wooden spatula until it makes a fine paste.
Add all your chopped vegetables and mix them using your spatula for about 2 minutes. After that, add some water. Cook for about 2 minutes.
After that, add your coconut milk and water (2 cups). After cooking it for some time, add some more water to it. Now add bay leaves thyme, and let it simmer for about 15 minutes with its lid on.
When the soup starts to boil, add some garlic powder and chicken-flavored soup mix. Mix it all using a spatula. Cover the pot using a lid and leave it for about 5 minutes.
After that, add shredded chicken (use forks for shredding your chicken) into the soup and mix it well together. Let it simmer for about 10 minutes. You can also add salt and pepper to your taste.
Pour it in a serving bowl, and it's ready to go. Chop some parsley to sprinkle on the top.
