Making a homemade caramel mud cake is possible! This recipe requires just two ingredients and the results are incredible. A smooth, sweet, and delicious cake.
- 8 egg whites
- 360 g sugar
Place 300 g of sugar in a frying pan and wait until the centre begins to brown. Stir every 5 minutes and cook over medium heat until obtaining a caramel sauce.
Pour the caramel into the mould.
Whip the egg whites. Add the 60 g of sugar while whisking until stiff peaks form.
Fill the mould with the meringue that and smooth it out so that it is all at an even height.
Bake at 160 °C in a preheated oven for 35 minutes.
Let cool before unmoulding and enjoy your caramel cake with only two ingredients.
