- 6 Pieces chicken
- 2 tablespoon oil
- to taste salt
- to taste black pepper
- to taste cumin
- 1 Cup Apricot halves in syrup
- 1 Cup soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon ground sweet paprika
- 2 tablespoon Corn-starch
- 2 cups water
Season the chicken pieces with salt, pepper, and cumin
In a saucepan, fry the seasoned chicken.
When the chicken is browned, add the apricot syrup.
Add ginger, salt, oregano, paprika, and soy sauce.
Stir thoroughly and cook for 20 – 25 minutes until chicken is cooked. Then, put the pieces in a bowl.
Add to the saucepan, corn-starch mixed with a spoon of water and cook for two minutes.
Add the cooked chicken pieces and apricot halves.
Add diced bell pepper and cook for two more minutes.
Serve with rice or potatoes and enjoy this delicious apricot chicken.
