This sauce is easy and quick, it is not complicated and does not form lumps! You can use this béchamel sauce for corned beef, any meat, lasagne, croquettes, pasta, cannelloni, macaroni, eggplants, cauliflower... The possibilities are endless!
- 50 g butter
- 50 g self-rising flour
- 600 ml milk
- black pepper
Put the butter in a saucepan on heat. Stir with a whisk until it is completely melted.
Over medium heat, add the flour and continue stirring for a couple of minutes.
Immediately, add all the milk, remember that it must be at room temperature.
Stir constantly until the sauce begins to thicken. Add salt, pepper and nutmeg.
Stir a couple of minutes more and you will get the best white sauce, delicious and without lumps.
