Authentic Thai Ground Chicken Sausage Rolls
The Thai Chicken Sausage Rolls recipe puts a Thai twist on the classic sausage roll. The fusion of traditional chicken sausage with the exotic flavors of Thai cuisine, such as lemongrass and fish sauce, makes these rolls a delicious appetizer, snack, or party treat. Ingredients
- 500 g chicken mince
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 lemongrass stalk, white part only finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon fish sauce
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sweet chili sauce
- 1 carrot, finely grated
- 2 green onions, finely sliced
- 3 letters puff pastry
- 1 egg, beaten
- Sesame seeds for sprinkling

Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking tray with baking paper.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the chicken mince, garlic cloves, onion, lemongrass, fish sauce, soy sauce, sweet chili sauce, carrot, and green onions. Mix until well combined.
Cut each pastry sheet in half. Divide the chicken mixture into six equal parts and shape each part into a log. Place each log along the long side of a pastry half.
Roll up the pastry to enclose the filling, finishing the roll with the seam side down.
Brush each roll with the beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Cut each roll into halves or desired size, and place them on the prepared baking tray.
Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
