 Dumplings
- 50 g butter
 - 225 g self-raising flour
 - 185 g milk
 - 2 tablespoon Golden Syrup
 
Syrup Sauce
- 50 g butter
 - 160 g brown sugar
 - 2 cups water
 - 120 g Golden Syrup

1. Step 
 In a large bowl, add the flour and the butter.
2. Step 
 With your hands rub the butter with the flour until it resembles fine breadcrumbs.
3. Step 
 Add the milk and golden syrup and stir to form a thick, sticky batter.
4. Step 
 In a large saucepan place all of the syrup ingredients into the pot starting with the water.
5. Step 
 Bring to a boil and stir, then reduce to a simmer.
6. Step 
 Add the batter to the sauce. Allow to simmer for 10 minutes, then turn the dumplings. Allow them to cook for another 5-10 minutes.
7. Step 
 Serve and enjoy.
