The souvlaki with piadina chips is an easy recipe. It's tasy and quick to make. Souvlaki are an absolute classic of traditional Greek cuisine and piadina is typical from Italian food. You will bring to the table a rich dish that everyone will really like.
- 4 wraps
- 600 g chicken breast
- 150 ml Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1⁄2 teaspoon dried mint
- 1⁄2 teaspoon dry rosemary
- 1 teaspoon sweet paprika
- lemon juice
- black pepper
In a bowl, mix the oil, paprika and herbs. Combine a generous grind of black pepper and a pinch of salt. Take half a cup of dressing for the piadina chips and also add the lemon juice.
Cut the chicken breast into strips and then into cubes of about 2 cm, add them to the dressing with the lemon juice and mix carefully. Cover and let it rest for at least 30 minutes.
Cut the wraps into wedges and then into triangles. With the dressing set aside, brush the surface on both sides of each triangle. Then, spread the chips on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper and cook for about 10 minutes at 180 °.
After the marinating time has elapsed, compose the chicken skewers with the help of a metal or wooden skewer.
Heat a grill pan and grill the souvlaki for 10 minutes, turning them on all sides.
Serve chicken souvlaki with crunchy gluten-free flatbread chips and your favorite salsa.
