VIDEORECIPE Chinese Lemon Chicken Recipe
This delicious recipe from Chinese cuisine is a simple dish with a very tasty result, so you no longer have any excuse to prepare it at home.
- 500 g chicken breast
- 1 tablespoon light soy sauce
- 1 egg
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 ks fresh ginger
- 150 g corn starch
- Vegetable oil for frying
- 2 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- Lemon zest
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 3⁄4 Cup water
- 3⁄4 teaspoon maize starch
- 1⁄2 teaspoon light soy sauce
Chop the garlic and the ginger.
Squeeze the lemon juice.
Cut the chicken breast into small pieces.
In a bowl, put the chicken, the chopped garlic and the chopped ginger.
Add an egg.
Add soy sauce.
Mix with the hand until ingredients are combined. Cover and wait 30 minutes.
Sprinkle the chicken with corn starch.
Mix until the cornstarch cover completely covers the chicken pieces.
In a frying pan, put the vegetable oil. When the oil is hot, add the chicken pieces.
Fry for 7 minutes. Remove and strain.
Place in a bowl with paper towels.
In a bowl, put water. Add sugar, salt, honey, lemon juice, lemon zest and corn starch. Mix.
Cook the sauce until thickened and add soy sauce.
Serve. Add the sauce to the chicken. Enjoy!
