Easy Homemade Pork Sausage Puff Pastry Rolls
Feast on the ultimate finger food with these flaky and savoury Pork Sausage Rolls. Whether you serve them up for a casual brunch or as a party snack, these delectable bites are easy to make and sure to impress!
Ingredients
- 500 g pork sausage, skins removed
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 carrot, grated
- 1 apple, grated
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 letters puff pastry, thawed
- 1 egg, beaten
- Sesame seeds, for garnish

Preheat your oven to 200°C (180°C fan) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, combine the pork sausage mince, onion, garlic, grated carrot, grated apple, and thyme. Season with salt and pepper and mix until well combined.
Lay one sheet of puff pastry out on a clean surface. Shape half of the sausage mixture into a log and place along one edge of the pastry.
Roll the pastry tightly around the sausage mixture, brushing the edge with beaten egg to seal. Repeat with the remaining pastry and sausage mixture.
Cut each roll into 4 equal portions and place on the prepared baking sheet.
Brush the tops of the rolls with more beaten egg, then sprinkle over sesame seeds. Make two small slits in the top of each roll to help steam escape.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden and flaky.
Let them cool for a few minutes before biting into your scrumptious homemade pork sausage rolls.
